What Keeps Me Showing Up
Dance studio owners are some of the hardest-working people I know. You give so much of yourself — your time, your energy, your creativity, and often your savings — because you care deeply about your dancers and your community. I have seen it firsthand, and I know how much heart it takes to keep a studio running.
And yet, even the most passionate, purpose-driven owners can feel overwhelmed, underpaid, or unsure of what comes next.
In those moments, it’s common to turn to groups, industry forums, or even paid memberships for guidance. And while those spaces can offer some value, the advice given often lacks context — it’s not grounded in the realities of your studio, your numbers, or your way of doing things. What works for one business might be completely off-base for another. It’s not always bad advice — it’s just not always the right advice.
That’s where I come in.
I am not here to replace your paid program, coaching group, or association. I created E.D.G.E. to be the kind of support I wish more studio owners had access to: someone kind, experienced, and grounded in real-world understanding of what it takes to run a dance business.
I am here to be a connection you can reach for when you are feeling stuck, navigating something new, or facing a question you’re not quite sure who to ask. Someone who gets it, and can help you figure out a next step that is right for you.
Working together isn’t about getting everything perfect – it is about collaborating so that your studio runs with more ease, reflects what matters most ot you, and supports the reason you chose to become a studio owner in the first place.
